Re: Which Car should I hook up/restore?

It all depends...if its an old car, I want to drag it...if its a new car...I just want it to be fast and be able to grip turns...or it be a beast offroading...just what kind of car would you hook up/restore if you could?

Re: Which Car should I hook up/restore?

nova is the easiest pick man honestly. it has the most aftermarket. the sentra se-r, and spec-v have alot, but not the base model. the golf doesnt have alot either unless you go gti. 80's trans ams arent that pretty or s tuneable. so the easy choice is the nova

id say nova. dont have to worry about emisions :P
Cheap easy power and rolling around in an old muscle car is a blast. Next vote would be fore the 84 TA. Yeah sure they 3rdgen f-bods didnt have much power stock. but with 302(assuming its a manual tranny) there is allot of power to tap into for not too much on the dollor. I believe they weighted about 3300lb's(mt). They are fairly wide and low stance to them too. You can easily make these things handle good.
I think they look good btw...

I cant comment about the sentra or jetta since I dont know much about them.. but I'm not much in to FWD cars *shrugs

What kind of budget are you on for the car itself btw? Do you(or good freinds) have the tools/knowhow to do things with the car itelf? Is this for a daily driver?(if so you may want to keep inmind what kind of weather you get during the winter..)

Re: Which Car should I hook up/restore?

what do you mean you dont have to worry about emissions?

Idk about the budget...I prolly wanna spend around 2000 on the car and then the rest to hook it up.

Me and myfriends have access and knowhow to everything...i have lift, all the tools, everything.

Re: Which Car should I hook up/restore?

go with the nova. aftermarket gallore, you dont have to worry about cats or anything like that, and it would be pretty easy to have it both handle and be good in a straight line.

not to mention the beautiful sound you get from a healthy V8, or the respect youd get from having a nova!

Re: Which Car should I hook up/restore?

vehicles 30 years old and older do not have to comply with emissions.

companies like:
neuspeed
wetworks
1552 designs
abd
