The Ultimate in the art of making a slow car look fast (rice)

Cruising through town tonight with a few friends and saw a red Monte Carlo. On the side panelling someone had taken the sticker-numbers that you see on Mailboxes and put "Z34" on the side of the Monte. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Monte Carlo Z34's have FOUR tailpipes?

I saw something very similar last night. I passed an old Oldsmobile with "442" or "440" on the back (I don't remember which), but the 4's were the 3-D numbers you put on your house for the address and the last digit was a mailbox number.

I was like:

There is a red Civic hatchback around here that has "Who let the dogs out?" in cursive vinyl down the entire side of each side of the car. Now that's fast!

since we drive on the right (not left) side of the road, wouldnt that be the right (not wrong) side of the road since its the right (not left) side of the road? :huh:
actually i would rather like to move to AUS or NZ some day, and me and my friend always say "bonnet" cuz it sound cooler. so hope u didnt take any offense to that!

Seven hundred years ago, everybody used the English system

In the Middle Ages you kept to the left for the simple reason that you never knew who you'd meet on the road in those days; you wanted to make sure that a stranger passed on the right so you could go for your sword in case he proved unfriendly.

but it dates back to the Roman Empire.....

The Roman Army always carried their shields on their right arms,for the exact scenario you suggest.

and i suppose nowadays its best to pass on the left so your passenger can do a drive by, just like the sword and shield! no wait your cars are right hand drive so that wouldnt work huh?
