Ive got a 98 gst with the magenta grey pearl paint and i love the color but it has so many surface scratches and small blemishes that its driving me crazy. How can i buff my paint to make it look like new again(what supplies should i use, how should i do it)?

Re: WaNT TO make my car look pretty again!!
You may want to find a good detail shop to take care of the buffing. If you don't know what you are doing you can really screw up the paint (ie burning the paint)! My detailer charges about $130 to detail the entire car...wash, buff, wax, apply touch-up paint, interior, under hood, trunk, convertible top, etc.

Re: WaNT TO make my car look pretty again!!
Seriosuly dude, do it yourself, dedicate an entire evening. It is AMAZING what a good wax job can do man.. I swaer I was ready to repaint my ride when I decided to wash it. I washed it, and then waxed it for 2 hours. Not that spray-on crap they got, thats bullcrap, the real turtle wax in a bucket thing. Dude, I swear, the pic you see in my signature is right after I had cleaned it....nice huh?
PLUS go to krage, they have these lipsticks that are actually little toucher-upper for small scrathces...dilute with some water here and there to get the color just right....ofcourse they can be noticed very close-up, but they are a huge improvment for the buck. |
