If you have a car with a aftermarket wing, you are as bad as the next guy who thinks his wing will get him extra horsepower, better looks, or just plain..well..what ever you get a wing for? Do you seriously expect to take off or what? What's the deal? It's not like you travel at 300km/hr and actually need the "supposed" down-wind-force the spoiler actually does. Oh I get it, you have a massive wing so it makes you look like you race? You actually expect your car to flip over? Are you serious?

Oh, and I don't mind some "stock" "spoilers". I just hate wings, these are wings. Some holden's come with spoilers, but we're talking 1-2 inches from the bonet, not 1-2 FEET, and they have a purpose, they have a break light on them.

I can understand racing cars having spoilers, lowered, huge wheeles, nice rims, and a bodykit that touches the ground. But this is just over-the-top. Please stop, you look dumb, and I find it hard to concentrate on my driving because I'm laughing so hard at your dump wing.

I prefer either the stock spoiler or a nice small spoiler. But I guess that's what makes them so different. A wing sre those huge things. Spoilers are just there to add a better look although some cars look cool w/o them.

I do believe that the wing on that Lancer Evo VI is stock. And the wing on the WRX isn't that bad either. But those are the only two that I like...all the rest are a piece of shit.

The funny part, is that most of the tuner guys skip suspension....and just add the wing, dangerously drop the car....and expect it to have no front to back body roll...it's simply retarded.

If you actually knew something about the 1/4 mile...you know that a car with more height, ala regualar suspension...can travel faster to it's mark, taher then a dropped car....air flows beneath the car. When you cut off that flow....you go slower...very little, but slower.. FWD, winger guys also forget to make the rear struts rock hard....so when they take off, the front to back body roll will be slim, thus giving the front wheels more traction...because of the present weight..

Wings and spoilers only have one purpose....and one purpose only........FOR OVER 500wHP Cars.....traveling at over 130mph. I love seeing like a 89 sentra with a wing higher then the frigging roof....WTF..?

There is this ricer shop near me, everytime you pass there, you'll see a new cookie cutter rice machine... Whether it's the integra's with the 4 wheels like // \\ or the civics with the wheels in the back like [] []....and the front wheels like / \...with the tires that are like 3 inches to the ground....NO TRACTION..

Usually the stockers weigh lighter then the aftermarkets people buy unless you invest in some light wheels like trak lites. Smaller diameter, lighetr wight are better for straight line racing so it makes sense from a performance standpoint.

I don't see what the point is in even buying wheels in first place though if you don't plan on using them. Also if you were going to change out your wheels for racing why not go ahead and do the rears too?

BTW I don't think the one on the lancer looks too bad. The other ones suck too not only from a performance standpoint but looks wise.
