Unhappy Screw up

Hi, I have a 2001 Maxima.I love the car.A couple of months I gave it to an authorised service center for the 20000 Km service.I dont service anywhere else.
So I get the car back and a week later I notice that there is boils on the paint on my hood, near to the wiper fluid sprayer(whatever that is called).I checked closely and noticed that there were spots all over my car.It happenned that at the service center they filled in some kind of acid instead of water into the wiper fluid tank.

The service center agreed to repaint my car for me and I had to go without my car for 15 days. They did a good job, and I was happy at first coz all the old scratches and chips from cars parking too close and opening doors were gone. The car looked as new as I had brought it.But now wonder if I did the right thing.I know that it will never be as good as an original paint job, but could you tell me if it was a really bad choice.

If the paint job looks good and you have some sort of warrenty from them on it for the same length as Nissans bumper to bumper warrenty, then I'd say you did ok.

My brother bought a max and i crashed it and when it got fixed the paint job was better than when he bought it! keep in mind he did buy it used, but anyway if it looks good don't worry about it. Oh and by the way ...about 2 weeks after the max came out the shop the hood got shot up in a shoot out.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Many shops do just as good a job, if not better, than OEM. Just like Yogs said, as long as there is some kind of warranty in place, and you're happy with the end result, then I say have a happy day.
