bottom left cornor screw

there is a screw on the center console, while trying to take it out, all it does is turn, im trying to install my short shifter, got the screw closet to the shifter and the one on the glove box side
but the other one jsut will not come out, it just turns and turns and turns

well since it only screws into a piece of plastic (I believe), why not just pull it out since its already stripped, then replace it with a slightly thicker screw that will catch when you reinstall.



edit: better yet pull slightly on the console to apply pressure and then try unscrewing it at the same time, it may cut new threads and then you won't need to get a new screw or anything.

aweosme, got the screw out, but a little metal peice cam out with it, now ill jsut wait untill tomorrow too jack it up because i am tired and only have like one in easy access right now

stripping out those plastic holes that some of those crews go into is real easy, you have to learn not to torque those interior screws down so hard.

my tools suck and they dont turn the bolts on the underside, plus there is like no room so im just gonna have to have someone put it in

a cheap one off ebay, its all blue like only cost me 20 bucks, 10 for the shifter 10 for shifter

damn dude that shits gunna snap on you, watch out, lol but I cant talk i got one from dragracing.com and it was $20 SCO shifter. O ya for anyone who wants to get pretrty good parts go to www.dragracing.com I only bought one thing form there but everything is free shipping, name brand stuff, skunk2 venom blah blah..
