best 4banger under 10k

hey ive been around the forums a bit, havent really seen this type of thread yet. what do u guys think is the best 4cyl for 10k or under? coupes or sedans, anything is game

99 gsx all the way also might take 99tsi and 2000 type r integra in to concideration

I'd personally go for an E36 3-Series for sub 10,000, but thats a 6

its pretty damn hard to find a gsx under 10,000 dont u think? if it is less than that then it is most likely pretty messed up, in which case i would get a different car... gsx's run usually arround 15,000

You do know that GSX's ran from 1990-1999 right? And that there are two versions...1st Gen



and 2nd Gen

why rx7?(i am preaty sure you are aware of them not being 4bangers...

my list would be same minus rx7 and civic. but in there place I say Impreza 2.5RS and MR2(any gen tbh, they all kick ass).

What about the e30 m3? You could find a good one for under $10k if you looked...

BTW, not all e36's are sixes. the 318's were 4 cylinders.

ya u know cuz all japanese cars are stupid right? and i do believe this was straite 4 banger not inline 6 so yes your 318 is a decent answer. mr2 turbo man the best 4 banger around

I dunno if the 2.5 RS can be found under 10k...

I said the RX7 b/c in essence it's a 1.3 liter...and they can be found for under 10k...and fit the banger mentality

Civic's w/motor swaps and turbo's can kick some serious arse!!! Beware!

an e30 is a great car, but it'd need work, and would not be as quick as the gsx
