Will this stop the rubbing?

I have 17s and i'm not sure how much i lowered it, but i have about a finger width in the front and about 2 or 3 in the back. the thing is though that is it only rubs on the right side. i mean the right rubs, but not as bad as the left. especially the back left. and a lot on the front left too. so what i want thinking about was cutting that little lip, fender type thing out of the wheel well in the back cause that looks like the only thing rubbing and it doesn't seem to be serving any purpose. would that mess anything up? also if i take that front flap out from the wheel well in the front will too much water or something get somewhere it's not supposed to? cause i mean i know honda wouldn't put something there if it wasn't need. so what should i do? thanks!
Johnnie

No it won't hurt anything, it's one step above rolling them. Use a dremel and make sure to get some paint of some kind to cover the exposed metal.

So what you're actually saying is that is rubs at three of the four corners, right? And I suppose it wouldn't be too much to ask what car you drive and what the suspension setup is, would it? Also, what size rims and tires are you running? Your post almost sounds like a joke at this point.

As a side note, if you are going to be bending/grinding any painted body parts, make sure to scribe a line in the paint with a sharp edge (aka razor blade) to avoid paint chipping into visible areas.

sorry bout that. i have a 96 civic coupe. i got eibach prokit on bec techs struts. i'm runnin 17s on 205/40/17s. so it's not a crazy drop or anything. it's only rubbing on the left side. it rubs on the right just a little. but it's not bad. the left side is bad! someone said to put some touch up paint or paint on the parts that i've grinded out with a dremel, but what were you sayin about the razor, Texan? i don't get that... also what about taking that lining out the front fender. would that hurt anything? thanks for the help.

The razor cuts the paint in a clean even line. If you were to bend a piece of painted metal, the paint would break in an uneven pattern that could extend into highly visible areas.

As for removing the wheel lining, yes that would be bad. It's there for a reason. Remove it and you get dirt and rocks into places that weren't designed to withstand the pummel. You could screw up wiring or cause premature rust and body rot.
