Why does it matter how far you have traveled, according to your odometer?
What I'm getting at is, if you are actually keeping track of your mileage for distance to somewhere, you'll have to adjust and compensate for the difference. If you are keeping track for maintenance reasons, it doesn't matter. If you change the oil at 3000 miles or whenever, the truck still thinks it has gone 3000 miles when the odometer rolls up 3000 miles, even if you have actually traveled 3300 miles in distance. -slacker
