Question how does anyone afford this car?

ok the prices range and are not too bad on just the vehicle but when you talk 25,000 for legalizing another 2,500 at least for shipping then motorex says be prepared for another 5 grand. how does anyone get this car that lives in the us? is there no way around spending 80,000 dollars?

Well if you're paying 80k for an R32 or R33 someone is bending you over the table and assholing you! You can pick up R32 GTR's for under $35k through either MotoRex or RBMotoring. Just under $50k for an R33 GTR.

...uhh he just said the 35K is the price of legalization AND the cost of an R32, so therefore 16K for legaliztion of an R32 plus the 10-15 grand for the R32 = somewhere around the 30K mark

Most people tap into their home equity...

Thats what I would do.

Re: how does anyone afford this car?

you can get an R32 GTR in the states for 10 grand (actually around 8 or 9) plus 16 grand to MotoRex. 26 grand is not bad.

Just remember:

It's not bad when you compare it to what it compares to!

Good and obvious point that many people forget. So to answer the subject in question:

Hard work and patients. That should get you almost anything you want.

I was thinking today while at work about this. I always though "braille". So here is what I know.

Braille

n
A system of writing and printing for blind or visually impaired people, in which varied arrangements of raised dots representing letters and numerals are identified by touch.

I never thought it meant mentally challanged.

On topic.
Even though I live in a country where Skylines are aboundant doesn't mean they are cheap. While if you convert the US currency to New Zealand currency they are, but considering I make $44k per year NZD and my GTR cost me $30k it isn't cheap by any stretch.

In conclusion for the mentally challanged I'm a toolmaker/CNC programmer/ Design Engineer. While I use computers everyday, i don't fix software issues or repair them.
