how do you get bumper stickers off???

HOW?!?
There were three on my car. I got one off but it took me an hour, three fingernails, and a headache from the gasoline to get the gook off.
The other two doen't peel, they just flake. They have bean on there quite some time baking in the son.
Any suggestions on how to remove them with ease and without scratching the paint?
Thanks

well to get the car dealership graphics off my car i used a razor and was realllllly careful not to scratch my car and i used goo gone to get the gook off...it just takes alot of time and patience

what about a heat gun? i know u can use it to take things like pinstripes off but would it work for bumper stickers as well? just a thought
