Guess work on ST185 Monte winner interior (lots of pics)

Hi again after a long time.

Model is 95% finished just waiting for the dark red color on the tail ligths to at last came out fine (they're a pain in the arse). Will post'em later when finish.

Most of the interior is guess work since I've only found 1 crapy picture of a ST185 Rally Car. I've just heard that the gas tank isn't supose to be like that!

Anyway many first times in this build as you can see:

First Rally related subject.
First mayor decal work. (on body)
First PE Detail set.
First Aftermarket Belts.
First Carbon Fiber decal work.
First Interior wiring.

Please, please correct my mistakes as I put my guess work to a test with your knowledge, it'll be very helpfull on my next projects (ST185 92 Safari winner included) Here are the picts, do not hold anything!

More, bigger and full quality pictures on my Fotki site.

Nice! I have the same kit about 90% complete. Where'd you find the photoetch set? I need it to finish the car, so it's been on hold for a while now. The decals in mine weren't very easy to work with, especially trying to get them to conform to the contours on the hood.

Re: Guess work on ST185 Monte winner interior (lots of pics)

I got the PE set from HLJ, the PE Set is out of production : (

Decals were easy until the ones that go on the hood over the vents, I had to make green paint to retouch'em more ugly things happened in time but overall they were easy to put, a little yellowish but nice.

Seat belts are from Modeler's retouched sides with a red white board marker.

Damn! First time? You're joking! That interior just looks effective! I love the dashboard, and the effect of the "washes"...
Can't wait for the body pics now!!!!

Thanks for all the comments!

Make me feel nice, but the question is still in my head... did I make things right??? didn't I conected some fuel lines to the headphones for example??? LOL

Please Comment and thanks again for those kind responses.

Very realistic interior. If there are mistakes, they aren't visible once the body will be on. And for a try at CF :
