Uh...well alot of that is up in that Swap sticky up there but...if you must have a TT 6 cylinder that really narrows your options.

1: RB26DETT out of a Skyline GT-R, all the info you could want is in the Sticky or at least links to the info.

2: 2JZ out of a Supra, thats in there too I think but not covered as much, check the links

3: VG30DETT out of a 300ZX TT, again in there but not much, check the links...

All are expensive swaps, RB probably the cheapest. Dropping a SR20 probably give you all the power you want (barring really crazy stuff) and is alot cheaper. Or if you must, you can get an RB25DET, more powerful but not as much so as the 26 and not a twin either. But the only engine up there that needs to be a twin turbo is the VG because its an V6. Most RB/2JZ owners drop the twins for a single huge turbo anyway.

If you want a VG30 check this link out, I had this in mind but later changed, I would recomend a VG30 cuz parts are available and cheaper and you can find them at a local yard rather than a skyline RB.
Secondly there are some complications like the TT being on the wrong side with the RB series, you'll have to remove the TT set up or convert to a left hand drive or work your way around the manifold. A killer would be the 2GZT from a Supra but these are hard to find. an inline six is longer, requiring more room than a V6 that is why I changed to a V6, don't get me wrong, I like the RB26 but it just costs too much money fo me right now. But if you really feel up to it, I would say swap in an LS6 from a vett, then no one will ever catch you already know your way around chevies right????

Re: fastest 6TT

Stats:
RB26DETT:- 300hp, can be adjusted to 400 by a little fine tuning. Hardest swap of the RB series cuz the TT is on the driver side, this causes inteference with the steering shaft, most switch to a single turbo setup. Oil pan will have to be swapped with one from an RB25. Very $$$$$$$$$
RB25DET:-easier less powerful, cheaper, most common of the RB.
RB20:- dont know much about this swap.
VG30DETT:- My choice cuz it is available here in the states so no waiting for parts from J-land, You can find them at your local yard and since you can pull the parts yourself, you can do a good job, some cars may be shipped with cut harnesses. Parts more readily available.
V6 is shorter than an inline 6 which puts the weight further back, improves handling.
LS6:- wooohoooooooo 400hp bone stock, with a good rebuild I've seen an LS1 with 540hp motor only, talked to a guy with NOS on his firbird and a dyno slip of 700hp, and the sky is the limit with these blocks, and better yet they will still pass emission. YEAH BABY.
2JZ-GTE:- Best coice over the RB26 cuz the TT is on the passenger side, very powerful, all those 800HP SUPRAS are running on stock bottom ends . Very $$$$$$$ but cheaper than RB cuz it is in the Sates.
Are these enough Stats for you????????????

Re: fastest 6TT

if you don't know the stats on these things already, it's probably not in your best interest to get started on this swap...

you need to become familiar with cars (not just these ones) before you dive into this one...
