My honda accord was smashed today and it looks like the damage is gonna be beyond repair. So i get 500 less than the blue book, which comes to $2,600. I know its not much but i am open to suggestions on what i should get.
Just as an idea i was thinking maybe an old 80's 280Z, or an 87-90 GTI. Any input is welcome, Thanx -Shrub |

Definately go for an old GTI! that or a late 80's BMW 318i or 318is, possibly a 325i in a bit of a shabby condition. A Datsun 280ZX would be nice too. Basically all of these have the same performance. It all comes down to looks pretty much, and how much of a bargain you can score. All these cars are easily modifyible.
I think the best would be a 325i. It has a straight 6 so it has alot more torque , and you can easily make it run 0-60 in low 7's with a few mods.
