3rd Gear?

Just wandering, does vtec hit harder on 3rd gear than any other gears or is it just all the same on all the gears?
Thanks

Re: 3rd Gear?

it's the same in all gears, but you answered your own question.
the gearing dictates how the power is put down.
it would actually be more powerful in 1st, and 2nd, but they go by so quick, and you get into vtec so quick, that you don't realize.
getting into 3rd, it's more noticeable than 4th and 5th due to the gearing and the speed that you're moving at.
make sense?
