Talking The greatest car ever made (possibly)!! A Firehawk! (Pics)

Here are some pics of my Lindberg Firehawk. I actually built this to look just like the Firehawk I owned at the time and tried to match all the interior and exterior parts colors to the real car.

Well done! What kind of paint do you use? It looks like automotive paint isn't it?

On this one, I used automotive primer. The model was molded in red which was alot of fun to work with (not!). I used duplicolor metallic green and then sprayed testors clear green to get it closer to the shade of the real car. There is about 3 coats of clear gloss on top of it. I forgot to mention that the bottom of the car isn`t accurate to the real car. I should have painted it primer color and then sprayed around the edges with the body color. I should have looked under my car before painting the model.
I let my ex girlfreind have this one while we were going out. When I asked for it back, she returned it with the missing mirror and wiper blades.
The little blue and white spot on the winsheild is an ispection sticker I painted on by hand, and was accurate for the time.

Very nice work! I'm not a big Firebird fan myself but it looks like you put a lot of work into it.

I wonder what she's doing with that mirror and wiper blades...
