Nope, the DS, IIRC, means it has a carburettor.

The GA16DS has a carburetor!!!

Can I installed in this Engine a Turbolader or a Compressor?

Or become I a SR20DET in my P10 1.6l?

What must I do for it?

Bye

Thorsten

No, for it to have a carberator would be GA16D, if the last place is absent it is carberated.

No, you are wrong, trust me!

As for your question, Thorsten, I think that adding turbo to your engine is a waste of time and money. You can, of course, install SR20DET, but the engine management system for your carburetted car and fuel injection car is completely different. You will need the engine, ECY, wiring harness, basically the whole engine bay, as well as bits and pieces from the exhaust system (all sorts of sensors and what not). Maybe you would be better off trading your car for a two litre fersion and then changing the engine. Let#s see what our turbo gurus have to say about that

Where are you from, BTW?
