'99 M3 vs. '02 Mustang GT

I just got a used '99 M3 coupe, 5 spd. I haven't done any performance modifications to it yet. My friend has a 2002 Mustang GT and challenged me to a race. His is completely stock. Do you think I can take him?

what kind of race is it? straight line or one with....turns?

i think you'd be able to take him in both, especially in one if you have to turn the steering wheel.

You're driving an M3! You don't need to race Mustangs! Let your buddy tear up his pony car dragging it from light to light, and revel in the knowledge that in just about any contest that matters, you've got the better machine.
