spark plug gap
What is the reccomended spark plug gap for 2000 honda ex? I just got iridium denso's and haynes says try .039-.043 while under the hood say 1.0-1.1 also my gap tool does not pass 1.0 so whats the truth?

Always do what Honda recommends. I learned not to screw with them by trying non-Honda power steering fluid....

Check the unit of measurement you are using (mm vs. something else)!

1.0mm is .042"
use a converter, buddy. you really think a 1.1 inch gap is correct when a manual tells you .042"? anyways... sparkplugs come pregapped for their application. main thing is to just double check it before installation. |
