i recently totaled my '97 GS-R, and i'm looking into getting a '92-96 civic si hatch. i'm wondering what needs to be done in order to properly swap in my motor?
also, if i end up taking it to a shop, how much do you think it will cost me? i also heard i have to go to some state office to register the engine after the swap, or something along those lines. is that true?

Re: Q's on a b18 swap
depends on what state your in as far as registry goes. Grab yourself a nice hasport or place racing mount kit for that hatch if ya like..drop her on in...do you plan on keeping the a/c ?

Re: Q's on a b18 swap
If you have a 97 GSR, you have everything needed to swap, except the ECU, you need to either get a OBD II->OBD I conversion harness, or a chipped P28 to run the 1.8. You DO NOT NEED A MOUNT KIT, they are nice to use, as they are stiffer, and new, but NOT nescessary for a B series into a Civic.
