Anyone notice this?

The rear reflector things were switched when the car came to the US.

Anyone know why?

I believe it was determined that they are on different sides depending on which side of the road traffic drives on in the country where the car is located.

I'm not certain if it is specifically required in the USA, but the red light is actually a rear fog light and most cars in the USA that I have seen with them have them located on the driver's side, or left side when facing the rear of the vehicle. There are some cars which have a pair of rear fogs (Bentleys and Jaguars come to mind) so I guess for them it wouldn't matter. I can only assume that is why the change was made.

Maybe gerd, in his infinite wisdom, could provide some insight on this.

That doesn't look like the standard issue HD nor GTR wing either. It's taller and too far forward.

yeah look around in a thread "red mclaren pics" or the like, more info, but not as hidious as what AMG did to the GTR.

If your talking about the Clk Gtr super sport I thing that car looks damn nice. The red gives it more flare.
