Re: 94 Jetta possible electrical problem help!
never mind on the not starting problem...it turned out to be the distributor rotor....part of the inside tab that slips into the noch on the shaft broke so the rotor was not spinning.

Can you see if anyone had messed with the fan wiring? If not, then unplug the switch on the radiator & see if it stops, it may be stuck on.

Jetta 3
i have lots of questions about my car...so before i start annyoying you automotive forum regulars/experts, you can let me know if theres a better place i can get tips(for free).
1 By the coolant dome thing, theres are slots for 2 fuses, whats that for? my car only has one fuse, on the left side. 2 when the cars starts to heat up it starts makin a clicking sound from the engine. 3 can radiator cables be replaced. 4 is the electric sunroof designed to slide back or just pivot open enought to leave a 1-2 inch slit? |

Re: 94 Jetta possible electrical problem help!
1) I believe one's for the cooling fan (A/C), the other I can't remember, but I've seen alot of cars w/o it.
2) Could be lifter noise, what quality & weight oil are you using? 3) I don't know what a radiator cable is. 4) Factory electric sunroofs slide all the way back. |
