If someone could help me that would be great... My car started squeaking, so i thought okay belts are too tight or there bad... so i replaced them and cehcked the tension, but something is still squeaking. And its funny, it only squeaks when the car starts and when the ac is running. After a very long close inspection i concluded that the squeaking looks like it is coming from the AC clutch. Is there any fix? Grease? New AC clutch? Any suggestions would help... Thx

Well, if you either have to fix this one, or get a new one, I'd certainly try to oil/grease it. What's the worst that can happen, you need a new clutch, which you'd need anyhow if you didn't try it.

my ac has been squeeking for 2 years. the ac still works. the belts are fine. IMO, i would change it when it goes out. i dont mind the squeeks, the sound comes on and off, but its not too loud, and it doesnt irritate me. besides, it still works, and still doing a fine job pumping cool air in my car during hot california days.

a/c belts
a/c belt and p/s belt must be really tight, so tight that when you push down on the belt at the center of two pully it will not deflex.
