i have a 98 240sx and my clutch squeaks very loud when i press it.I can hear a loud creeking sound coming from the bottom of the car. It is coming from a plunger looking kind of thing. What should I do to stop the squeaking?

its coming from the clutch slave cylinder. i had the same problem on mine. it sounds absolutely terrible. anyways just grease up the slave cylinder real good and spray some wd40 inside the little rubber block looking thing that is between the clutch slave cylinder and the inside of the tranny. that fixed mine

It may also be goin out depending on the miles, mine squeaked on and off for a while and my master cylinder went out so I replaced them both and havnt heard a sound since.
