squeaking clutch cabel

how do I stop my clutch cable from squeaking, do you guys no how to lube it? or is it easier to just get a new one, or is the squeak actually the pedal. I am so annoyed by it, I didn't really inspect it yet, but usually cables like that are a pain to grease

When I first got my car I had same problem. I used a teflon spray by crc I think but any spray with a tube on it will work. Make sure it has teflon in it though. wd40 will make it dry out and get worse.

Basiclly just spray it down the tube until it comes out the other side. I did it a couple time beore it completly stoped.

Thumbs down squeak squeak!!

dammit this is annoying!!

i tried spaying a silicone spray on mine..I think mine is the cable rubbing thru the firewall

I mess with it every few months..it is tuff to get a spray can up in there to get any in the hole...sometimes it is better for a few weeks, sometimes it isn't...
