Im new on here and i just got a 91 talon tsi front wheel drive and i dont want to ruin the turbo what precautions should i take when i start it up and turn it off.

Re: turbo's are new to me....
also does anyone have any ideas for reattaching a loose side paneling at the bottom of the car it flops and seems held on by some glue stuff could i reattach it with glue?

I have a 1990 talon tsi Fwd, I have the stock turbo on it, stock injectors but I have MBC (manual boost controller) and I have some guages and stuff, im running around 17-18 psi, one thing you can do when your about to shut the car off, leave it running to let the turbo cool down, or get a turbo timer that will shoot a fresh coat of oil through the turbo and leave the car on to cool it down after you shut the car off, another mod you can do is replace the vaccum lines connected to the intake manifold that goes to the wastegate acuator make them all the same , goto these sites they are awsome for help,
