what turbo's are direct bolt on's?

Allright, im lookin for a direct bolt on turbo. I was referenced to this site.

http://www.slowboyracing.com/shop.ph...c694c30262e478

Anyways. id like to stay under like $600, and am for the most part lookin at the small 16g, the big 16'g, and the evoIII 16g. Are those gonna bolt right on? will the oil feed lines and the other lines go right onto this turbo, etc, etc? also any information on these turbo's like how much boost u can push, hp increasement, spoling etc would be pretty sweet. Any other suggestions for turbo's would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

any of the 16g's are direct bolt ons' as in you dont need a new exhaust manifold or a new o2 housing, but the oil lines will be replaced by new lines that come in a 16 install kit, but i think thats only in 2g's, but if you're wanting fast go with the evoIII, i love mine and most people i know who got are are very happy with it, if you get one of the smaller ones you might end up regretting it later.

Re: what turbo's are direct bolt on's?

1G it will bolt in, 2g requires a little extra work and a couple extra parts, but it's no big deal and it's been covered extensively on many sites and forums. The EVO16g sounds like it's right up your alley. Full boost is in the low 3000s. Max is 25 psi without cams, or a little less with cams, ~40-44 lbs/min airflow. What you need to be able to make more power with the upgraded turbo is a whole other story though. I don't see any info on what supporting mods you have now or plan to get, or even what year your car is

Re: what turbo's are direct bolt on's?

allright i got a 1990 plymouth laser rs turbo fwd. so far all i got for it is a k&n filter, boost gauge and the motor was rebuilt about 30000km's ago. I plan to get turbo back exhaust probley 3 inch, a mbc, turbo timer, bigger fuel pump and a better fuel pressure regulator. After that i wanna put a full intake manifold and tb on it. Chances are ill end up throughin a bov in there sometime soon also. thanks

Re: what turbo's are direct bolt on's?

What is the difference with the 14B and the small 16G? would it be better just to pay the extra money for the BIG 16g my power goals are like 300-350.... i got a 255 fuel pump 2g manifold soon to have k&n filter and turbo back exhaust... i don't want anything excesive, i just need to get rid of the 14B that i have lol
