Tial 38mm wastegates
anyone know anything about the realiability of these wastegates. also are the springs interchangable. Basically, i dont want to buy a wastegate with a .5 bar spring and be stuck with it. Are those wastegates only useful if u want a half bar or less?

Re: Tial 38mm wastegates
I have the TIAL wastegate on my car and I have an 11 psi spring. I am not sure why you are worried about it being so low ... just get boost controller and turn the boost up at will.
I run 22 psi on mine with no problems.

Re: Tial 38mm wastegates
ok. if the spring tension doesnt matter then y spend more on a wastegate suited for 15psi as opposed to 5 psi. what is the difference in these springs?

Some people dont use boost controllers. they just let the wastegate open at the selected spring pressure. I also have the TIAL and am very happy with it.
