Does the STi have short gears?

Is it hard to drive compared to other manuals? I'm looking to street race.

Re: Does the STi have short gears?

The STi has extremely short gears, and there's a lot of shifting involved. The STi is one of very few cars that has to shift to 3rd before 60 MPH and 5th before the end of the 1/4 mi.
