H22 Swap
In Feb., im planning on getting an '88 CRX Si. I would like to know a couple of things?
1] Is the VTEC Prelude engine the H22, H22A, or H23A? 2] Will the H22 fit in the CRX without needing to modify the engine bay? 3] Is it possible to still fit a small/med size turbo in with the motor? 4] What is the average prive of the motor? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated! -G |

1-H22A
2-no 3-yes(good luck tho) 4-depends on alot of things my advise - if you have the money, time and patience, go for it! ive been in a H22A EG hatch and H22A EK coupe, OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!! Well worth it, here were my impressions during the ride: 0-60 Hollly smokes, a lil torquey eh!(nb: no Vtec yet) 60-100 2 much pull, when does it redline??!! 100-140 2 fast, when do you get into 5th?? 140-???? Amen! why is your SRS light on?? Last edited by QuikShifter; 10-11-2004 at 11:05 PM. |
