93 carice 9c1 digital speedometer problems

when i crank my car up my speedometer flashes random numbers and the idle is kinda rough the odometer slowly goes up and the trip counter i cant figure it out can anyone tell me what it is and what i can do to fix it

Angry Speedometer

ugh. same problem here! i was told that it is not the dash display, but rather the housing. who knows? with a 'vette engine in a b body caprice, i wanna know how fast i'm going! seriously, take it to a real mechanic.

There is another post in here regarding this issue. I dont remember what the forum was called, but I did print out the recommended fix. if you dont find it let me know and I can send it to you. I have not tried it yet myself but I have the same issue
