Headlight Mod

I was wondering since I don't use my high beams ever, should I put in a 55watt or lower bulb instead of the 65w bulb.

low beams use 55w, the high beam has 65w bulb.

then I'll would have 4 low beam lights for more street lighting.

does anyone know if this safe? or would I have to aim it? To me, it looks really nice having 4 beams on, but if it's not safe or legal I probaly won't do it.

Re: Headlight Mod

It think it is possible to put a lower wattage bulb in. You would probably have to aim the headlight. If you don't mind never having high beams then go for it.

yes, i never use high beams, i do only city driving.

i believe if i put in lower watt bulb into the highbeams I'll have to aim it lower since high beams housing point up.
