Headlight Mod

Alright, before I begin my thread, I want to fill you in on a little incident that happened saturday night. I was heading to my g/f house when I realized there is this one ramp going from 1 road (N->S), joining onto another road (E->W). This ramp is a 'S' curve, thats kinda long for no reason. I always loved taking my old car and flying thru it. The cureves tho, do get kinda sharp. It is solid road, no edges that fly off the end of the abyss. So anywho, I never hit this ramp with my car, so I decieed to try it. I get on about 55mph, and hit the first turn (right), the strut bars were nice and held it in place. The car started to pull, and i let off gas. Car pulled more, and I tapped the brakes. All 4 wheels lock up forno reason, and the back flys out. I got the wheel turned to the left now. The car gets about 50 degrees sideways by the time the brakes unlock. The car shoots to the left, gets about 40 degrees sideways, then back to the right and then middle. I look in my mirror and the road is totally smoked up! After I got of the ramp, I pulled over into a Domincks, and gotout of the car and sat down. I was tweakin' out. I drove safe then.

On a side not, all my racer buddies gave me 100 drift points. The ramp apparently is painted black with rubber.

So now my question. I have 2 days to modify my headlights (paint, HID). Do I have to take off my bumper to get the lights out? Thats alot ofwork if I do. Is there anyway around that?

Re: Headlight Mod

So, it looks like I have to take off my bumper. I tries today, and it failed. 2 days isnt enough for a 1st time bumper removal. Oh well. Looks like I wont do that stuff till later.
