3rd shift work

I need to pick up a part time job. What kinds of things can I do in the middle of the night without high risk of getting shot at?

All ideas welcome.

Re: 3rd shift work

I have a couple leads, but working 16 hrs a day will kill me... ugh!

BTW, I all but have a BA in business / accounting (missing 1 GE class; long story) and I have 3+ years experience in MS Access database development...

There's an entry-level Finance job I might ask about. :/

Re: 3rd shift work

well, before I make any suggestions, what are you looking at exactly? Do you want another good paying job, or something like minimum wage or a bit above for just a little extra on the side?

The latter. I'll be keeping my day job, but my day job hours are flexible. I have about 2 - 2.5 months to scrounge up some cash, as the savings account is tapped out.

Re: 3rd shift work

Well, I was thinking, there's always night maintenance for places like wal-mart, you have restaurants that are open 24 hrs. and security guard positions for places like warehouses, hospitals, things like that.

Re: 3rd shift work

I don't know how you feel about it but theres always positions for bouncers at night clubs and other security positions, they hire alot of people also so if you need a job quick thats the way to do it.

Re: 3rd shift work

Being a bouncer sucks balls.

Be a security guard. You get to sit on your arse all day and perve at chicks with the cameras.

Not that I have ever indulged in such delinquent activity.
