Re: rear license tag lights
Maybe use some kind of a gasket, never had any problems with mine, 1998 V6, 140,000 miles.
Good Luck

Re: rear license tag lights
I had this problem in my after market taillights I took some clear silicone and put a small bead around all of the external seals and then wiped it smooth w/my finger, and were they plug in I put alot of grease around it and i just check it once in a while and put more on when needed
