odometer cannot switch

The odometer(digital) of my 1999 Sunfire always stay on trip, but cannot switch to whole miles or reset to zero. Who knows how to fix it? Thanks.

Unhappy mine too

Did you ever find out what caused your odometer to not switch over? Mine does the same and I'm curious as to how much it will cost to get it fixed.

Re: odometer cannot switch

Probably it just the contact behind that switch. Sometimes the soldered portion of those connections pop out.
On our oldsmobile cutlass, the digital cluster data would just flicker on/off. The fix was to resolder those loose solder and mostly the IC (Integrated Chip). All I did was just resolder all the solder connections around the IC and it fixed the problem.

This was for my 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme but you might be able to get an idea or refer your friend who has the same problem. http://www.geocities.com/southbeach/...nt_cluster.htm
