All motor 11sec 99 Cobra

Ok, i'm planning out my cars life.. i wanna get into the 11's.. i wanna go all motor.. What are good steps with the heads? Should i mess with the stock ones port and poilishing, cams, and valves or are there a better set of heads i should consider? Heres what i had in mind.

Long tube headers
X pipe
Catback(have already)
Underdrive pullies(have already)
Larger throttle body
BBK intake
80 mm MAS
Fuell rails
RC engineering injectors
FPR
Fuel pump
Cams
headwork or new heads
4:10 richmond gears(have already)
Tune with diablo sport programmer

Sound like i could make the right amount of power at the wheels to get into the 11's? comments and info needed.. if i'm missing anything please let me know.. also best name brandswould be nice

A worked over set of 4V from Fox Lake is probably the best thing at the moment. They flow nice numbers, combine some cams and beehive springs and you should be able to rev the piss out of it and get your 11's

You don't need ported heads, a new intake, new cams, or to rev the snot out of the thing to get 11's out of it. Go for the long tubes and X-pipe, get it tuned, swap in a live axle with 4.56's and you're there, easily. Hell, look at Bob Cosby. He's running a 4.6 cobra motor that's .020 over with a bit more compression, stock heads with a valve job, stock valves, new springs/retainers, stock intake, stock cams, full exhaust and he's making 350 to the tires. If you were to dog into the motor with head work, a new intake, new cams, new pistons and rods, I would be shooting for atleast 400 RWHP and some low 11's or 10's.

I know no one cares but I'm a nerd and I notice stuff like this. Anyone else see that the Mustang in Dave's sig is not a Cobra?

Having built a few drag cars in the past 35+ years I'd say to change nothing that ain't broken. I don't think you need ported/polished heads, huge cam etc to get to the 11's if you are 13.40's. You need to cut the weight of the car, improve weight distribution and get it to hook.
If I where working withe car I would sort of start at the rear bumper and work my way forward.
Also, if you are planning to run real 11's you'll need a 6pt. rollbar at any legit raceway anywhere.......

Something that should go without saying at this point and you will probably find out on your own. 99/01 Cobra's IRS are not great drag pieces... the launching you will need to do will prob grenade it at some point. Just something to be aware of.

Slam in a 9" with some ladder bars and 31 splines and give it hell.

Throw a 9" in there so it can suck a ton more power than an 8.8, be a lot heavier than an 8.8, cause him to lose ABS, be a lot more expensive, as well as harder to install? People are going 8's on 8.8" rear ends, he has absolutely no need to go to a 9".
