98 corvette problems w/ Hypertech
I have a 98 vette that I was using the Hypertech programer on. My battery went dead at 98% of the programing. I now have all kinds of messages on my display, fuel, reduced power, abs, etc. When I plug the hypertech back in it says resuming programing, then it just displays etablishing communications with vehicle and to turn the key to the run position. I did that and it will just display this for several hours. I know it sayed make sure the battery is fully charged on the inital programing but I had no idea I would have the thing hooked up for an hour. I need help to recover my car, what do I do????

Re: 98 corvette problems w/ Hypertech
I had the choice of sending the ECU to hypertech or go to the dealership to get the computer programed. I elected to go to the local speedshop and get custom programing that will net 15 to 25 hp over the Hypertech, bad thing happen for a reason.

Re: 98 corvette problems w/ Hypertech
Try disconnecting the positive battery cable lead and hold it to the negative post for 20 to 30 seconds, the original settings and parameters should reset and the car should be back to normal. You can then use the Hypertech computer to run your program again. They don't tell you this in the manual, but it does work.
