93 blazer transmission linkage
so the transmission and the shifter are out of alignment on this 93 blazer. not a big deal, since it all works, etc. , but i have to monkey with it to get the key out, and i can't get it all the way down into 1st.
a couple folks have said to adjust the cable. well, i may be blind but i don't SEE a cable. my truck has a solid bar going from the steering column to the shaft going into the side of the trans. neither connection point has anything remotely looking like a way to adjust. any suggestions? i should say that my truck shifts rather stiff as well compared to my last one that was the same year, etc. perhaps there was some damage or something broke in the past in the column. it steers just fine, but.... anyway, i digress. any help would be much appreciated. |

Re: 93 blazer transmission linkage
you can adjust where the rod from the shifter comes down into the holder style thing for the transmission. sorry, cant think of the proper name.
