Question How to check transmission fluid 99 Isuzu Rodeo??

Can anyone help me? We recently bought a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo (Automatic transmission) There is no dip stick to check to see how much fluid it has.Can anyone tell where it is or what we need to do? Thanks in advance

That year doesn't have a dipstick for the auto tranny. The only way to check the fluid is to remove the fill bolt on the side of the transmission and stick your finger in. The fluid level should be right up to the hole.

You might want to do what I did when I bought my 96 a few months ago and just give it a trans flush. Since I didn't get any maintenance records I felt that was the best thing to do.
