Well it seems that the dream is over......the dream of messing with the AF members
Sadly enough it seems that the AF community we all grew up to love and cherish will be over soon.
We were informed a few days ago by Igor that we might experience some troubles. It did not look that bad at the beginning but it seems that recent developments have created a very bleak situation. I cannot divulge too much information due to legal matters but it seems that due to some intellectual copyright infringements involving AF and the 350Z project vehicle. For now a court settlement is presumed to be the best idea. However due to this whole scandal most of the sponsors have announced that they will withdraw their accounts from AF. So for now the server will have to be taken down. Unbelievable. I really thought there would be an amicable resolution to this whole mess.
Being in the fortunate position of holding a steady job and making decent money, i've pledged up to $1,000 in the the $15,000 or so that is needed to save AF from going down the drain. Well it seems that igor managed to defeat Sport Compact Car and Car and driver so now those magazines are banckrupt and Af will continue to thrive.
