Of all skylines which model is considered the holly grail?
What sets it apart from the others?

In my opinion, it would be the 400R. It was a very limited R33 GTR (99 made) that came with the race engine RBX-GT2, an RB26 bored to 2.8L with racing internals. Actually, it's basically a street legal race car.

Tough question. Without doubt the R32 series spawned a new generation of Skylines. The GTR as it is known now was born and the face of racing in Japan changed forever with it, not to mention the love and inspiration for the car.

However in saying that the KPGC10 (2 coupe`) was born and is really the first GT-R which featured a DOC 2 litre straight 6 making 160hp. This was back in 1969-1972, the first of the GT series.

Damn straight. The KPGC10 would be my choice More modern? I'd dearly love a 280MR, which is to the R33 GTS25t as the 400R is to the R33 GTR . The 2.5 litre engine is taken out to 2.8, and with other changes the power is 280PS (of course), and it had the Nismo wheels and stuff. Apparently the torgue was just glorious. I had begun to think it was just a figment of the imagination of the creators of Gran Turismo, but then I saw a photo of one. Don't know how many were actually made though

i'd like a 400r...
at the same time, i'd like an r33 gtr. then i'd make it the car that i desire, not worry about what others want...

My most wanted Skyline is a completely stock (and i mean completely) 1989-1992 R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R.

i'd second that. I'd want a completely stock, and in good condition R32 GTR. I don't want something someone has fucked with. I want a preserved R32, just waiting for me to take it back to the states and gut.
