1989 LeSabre no spark HELP

Buick died, thought it was out of gas. Put gas in it, tried to start it, but it backfired, and hasn't started since. Turning over but won't crank.
Shadetree mechanic had just changed out the harmonic balancer.
Pulled it home off side of road. Same mechanic came back out and put on a sensor. Still won't crank. There is no fire from the spark plugs.

Do you have an idea's what will fix this??

Sounds like the crank trigger sensor is damaged or out of postition.

thanks for the help. it was the cam sensor and the control module
