raced a max, z, ws6

on my way home from the chipotle ohionissans meet, i decided to hop back on the hiway to try to mess with some cars. getting right on the onramp i spotted a 4th gen maxima with altezzas, tinted windows, exhaust, etc. hopped on his ass.... we hit a straightaway and i started dumped the bov in his face. he stepped on it, i pulled on him from the start and took him by about 6-7 car lengths from 65 to 100. i wondered how my max would do against it... :P

about 2 mi down i ran into a brand new 350z with tinted windows, aftermarket 18", and exhaust. i just went in 4th, caught up to him, and let go of throttle to let him hear my bov. he looked right over, started smiling, i shifted to 3rd and took off. we left the same exact time and we were dead even from 65 all the way to 85, then i gained about a 1/4 length. around there i shifted to 4th and just kept pulling. around 105 i was about 1.5-2 car lengths ahead and i changed lanes to get right in front of him. wooha! i wondered how i would do against that bad boy too...

about 30 seconds after that race, i pulled right next to a ws6 and did the same thing and he definately heard my bov :twisted: he had tinted windows and aftermarket rims. the next thing i heard was utter amazement. he dropped back to check out what car it was, then he pulled right even to me and revved. i have never heard a car sound like this. it seriously sounded so incredibly mean and weird, like it was from outer space. i downshifted to third and took off but it was no match, after about 15mph he had a good 2 car lengths on me and he just let off throttle. we played around a little on the hiway too, but he did just about the same thing to me again. whoever that was, that was an awesome car. mad props! my first loss.... but im ok with that one im finally learning what times i just about have (hi 13s?)

i also had a few misc races with other cars but they weren't worthy of mentioning, anything from a grand prix gt and down i kill by 10+ car lengths over about 10 sec or less.

btw all the kills were at stock boost (7psi). my boost controller comes today and afc comes friday, then ill be running 13psi.

How is it that you barely beat 350Zs, lose bad to WS6s, suspect you run high 13s, but beat SS's with two extra people in the car???

lost to a modded ws6, and beat a stock ss?

im suspecting the z was somewhat modded, the ws6 was heavily modded, and the ss was stock.

whats so hard to believe about that?

btw fly i got the wheel back on (no duh..). a wheel hub was stripped. you can check it out anytime its dry outside...

sorry layla haven't been up there, i had the car for about almost 3 weeks and ive only been driving it a little over a week. its been parked and ive been trying to fix it up the best i could. i didn't drive it almost the whole last week because the wheel almost fell off and i needed a new hub. before that i couldn't drive it because my back brakes were gone. ayayaya what a mess it was.

talked to someone else too about the firebird. im not sure how those cars handle mods but it was heavily modded... or supercharged. i've seen 12 sec cars before (and been in them), and they didn't pull like that did.
