Why do u need gt tails to make custom tails?
My question is i have 95 Grand AM SE and i want to make custom tail lights for my car, why do i need the GT tail lights?

On the SE tail lights have only the Red lense. On the GT tail lights it has an outer clear lense and a red lense on the inside. In order to make the clear taillights you would need to take a set of GT tails, CARFEULLY pry off the clear lense then take out the red inside lense.
If you are creative you could make you're own custom lenses on SE tails, its just that you can't make Clear taillights and you would be limited to painting or vinyl.

I would rather use the se ones , Iradescent engine enamels can be airbrushed on the chrome or tint the lenses
.
