Re: 60mm throttle body
IF thats all you have done, I wouldnt expect any gains. But, if you have done other aiflow enhancing mods the TB becomes another restriction at some point. So, no one can tell you what your gains would be. Just have to try it.
![]() Which TB are you thinking of going with?

Re: 60mm throttle body
I would have to say you will see gains. This is from people doing this mod on 2gnt, they love it.
http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?a...9598&mode=full Here is the comments of the neon write-up: Good things about Cherokee TB: My friend Nono put the 60mm TB on his SOHC, and improve in the 1/4 mile from 15.56 to 15.36. And on the 60ft times from 2.48's to constantly 2.34's. Another friend put the 60mm TB on his* DOHC and gave him 3 HP at the wheels on Dyno, but I think gives you more torque than HP, because you can feel it* from a 56mm TB to this 60mm you can feel the diferrence and power. And the think that I love most is the turbo sound that it makes, on every gear you can hear the sound like a turbo car I will try to record the sound and put it here so you see what I'm talking about. And the stock TB on an eclipse is only 52mm or I would expect decent gains. More if you port/polish the intake manifold. I plan on doing this during the summer. When I will have time, and when i can find a cheap jeep TB

Re: 60mm throttle body
If you want to spend money, then follow these suggested upgrades.
http://www.2gnt.com/nuke/modules.php...ticle&artid=51 They will provide the best path. Also, take the upper plenum off and port the intake and gasket to match 60mm so there will be no restriction.
