Engine Question
The only thing that is stopping me from getting a vr-4 is my dad. He thinks that it is a hard sophisticated engine. He is used to working on domestics (i.e. 69 camaros, novas, chevelles, etc.). Big blocks/small blocks...the works. He thinks that i wont be able to work on it. IS IT THAT COMPLICATED!? OR IS IT JUST A NORMAL ENGINE?! thanks

Re: Engine Question
Well, it has 2 turbos and alot of bells and whistles throughout the car, but an engine is an engine. If you know what you're doing, there's plenty you can do to make it go faster. Not to mention, there are plenty of good resources to learn about this car. www.stealth316.com, www.3si.org, 3kgt.com, and plenty of others that you can find links to from the above sites.
I suggest researching it more if you have any questions. The engine bay on these is pretty packed, so you wont have as much space to work with as the older muscle cars, but if you know engines and turbochargers, then go for it...it's an awesome car. |
