Tire Lettering Question (and another pic!!)
I am looking for dry transfer tire lettering for muscle/classic cars but am having trouble finding what I am looking for. I have some of the "Firestone" transfer lettering from Shabo, but would like more variety. Most of what I`ve seen is for stock cars or race cars. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I attached a picture of a Corvette model I built a while back since everyone was asking me for more pictures. I hope you like it. This was a snap kit that took me about 10 hours to complete. The body has several coats of flourescent orange followed by 4 coats of testors gloss red and 4 coats of high gloss clear coat. |

for the tire lettering... I've seen it done on F1 cars using masking of (home made templates made of thin quality card boards)
the result turned pretty well.. but i haven't tried it myself yet.

If the tires have the name molded into the sidewall, you can use those milky gel pens to pick out the high spots. If you go nice and slow, you can wipe away mistakes, I believe.
