Haha What do you think would win ?
both are 100% stock.
(i think Neon is RWD not sure)
both 5sd and 2.0L

Lude si will any day. I beat a 2002 neon sx with my 91 vw golf with 90 hp!!! You will beat that neon no problem

Glad to hear that. Friend is braging how old and crapy 3rd gen ludes are how his friends 03 Neon is way better.

Ya I am serious, i beat a 2002 sx neon with a 90 hp golf, mind you the golf is standard and the neon was automatic.

yeah theres no rwd sx neons to my knowlegde
the lude all the way they came with 130 hp right
that neons gonna see tail lights with a good launch on the ludes part after 1st

Not sure on the weight difference. But I can tell you the neons dropped the dohc 2.0 after 99. The b20a5 and b21a1 have some lower rpm torque and they max out the hp around 5800.They don't sing on the top end like a vtec. I would say the weight is more than likely close.The lude weighs around 2700 lbs.You never know till you try them. Let us know how it went.

max out at 5800?
peak hp in a b20 is at 6400.
rev limiter is at 7200.

lude is 2756 stock.
the neon should be more than that.

lude should eat neon for good . but Neon have Turbo version , i asuming you guy talk about standard neon

if you read the title of this 2 month old thread, you'd notice that it's not an srt4 version of the neon, so yes, we're not talking about the turbo version.
