SRT-4, GTi, Civic? Which one?

I want to get a car that is nice off the lot, Does not require a lot of mods. I'm looking into may different cars. Which one gives me the most right now. What are the cheapest mods to make the car smooth. ( Go easy on me, just getting into cars and mods.)

Re: SRT-4, GTi, Civic? Which one?

you cant even compare the srt-4 to a civic or GTi. The srt-4 is in the class with 350z and evo, its faster then the z, slower then evo.

If your interested in the civic or gti test drive them then test drive an srt-4, you'll know what im talking about. Srt-4 doesnt need much to make it smooth. just some lowering springs.

I have test driven the all three and the evo. The evo blew away the SRT-4, to much $$. I'm just getting into tuning. Some of the things that I've read say that you should buy a better BOV, and a new intake. But which is better, cold air intake or the ram intake? What other "cheap" mods can you suggest?

did you drive the civic or gti? slow as hell right.

just get the mopar stage 1,2,3 mods as they come out, I think after stage 3 you'll be in the 350hp+ range

Re: SRT-4, GTi, Civic? Which one?

Civics are slow but gti 1.8t, I don't think so, 0-60 6.4s(C&C), neon srt-4 0-60 5.6s, style of the gti is much better so is the interior finish and comfort, but if performance is all you care go with srt-4. Gti's are not slow, my gti is fast with the neuspeed chip and cai, and custom exhaust, right now its 0-60 is under 6s(running only on 14.5 psi) 220hp/250 lbs-ft.

whats you quarter time, who cares about 0-60? yeah out of the three the gti is deff has the nicest interior, but I would rather spend my money on speed not my dashboard material.

Are you 5 or something? Because that would account for your writing style and arguments, not to mention the whining.

Re: SRT-4, GTi, Civic? Which one?

mrgofast218, Learn how to talk dumbass. civic si-r? wtf. I bet you are some little dumbass kid that thinks graphics and neon lights are sweet, were talking performance here, so get in you ugly ass riced out 90' civic and go hit a tree.

the civic si is not fast 160hp, my 1st gen neon r/t can take one. so learn before you (try to) talk shit.

1.8t running high 13's, that sure as hell is not stock, right? not to sure on there performance but that sounds a little exagerated for stock.

Re: SRT-4, GTi, Civic? Which one?

I have neuspeed chip and cai by aem and custom exhaust made by ansa, i just need downpipe and FMI to get in low 13s. I also have a audi tt short shifter, that makes my shifting faster.
